Eleventh East-European Conference on Advances in Databases and Information Systems
ADBIS 2007

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Contributions are solicited for the following categories:
  • full research papers describing research accomplishments (approximately 5000 words),
  • demonstrations and short communications, i.e. experience reports, project overviews, etc. which do not fully adhere to the standards of a first rate scientific publication, but are nevertheless of interest and value for the participants of the conference,
  • proposals for tutorials and panels.
The program committee may decide to accept a submission as a short paper (2000 - 3000 words) if it reports interesting results but does not justify publication of a full paper.

Research papers will be published in the LNCS series of Springer Verlag. Communications will be included in additional local proceedings. A selection of outstanding papers from the conference may be invited for publication in an internationally recognized journal (subject to additional reviewing). All contributions should be in PDF format and should be submitted electronically. Authors are encouraged to consider the final paper format requirements, as specified in Springer's Default Author Instructions .

Research papers should be original contributions and should not be accepted or submitted elsewhere until the decisions of the ADBIS 2007 program committee are announced. At least one author from every submission accepted to appear in the Springer proceedings or the local proceedings is obliged to register and attend the conference.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR PAPERS accepted to LNCS and Local Proceedings

LNCS/LNAI/LNBI is published, in parallel to the printed books, in full-text electronic form via the internet platform www.springerlink.com. Springer therefore needs all the electronic files, most importantly the source files, of all parts of the manuscript (including front matter pages) as advised in the instructions. Springer also requires a final pdf of each paper created and checked by the authors.

Deadline and Page Limit
The dealine for the camera ready version is the 12th of June, whereas the page limit is 16 pages using strictly the Springer-Verlag LNCS style files. The authors are encouraged to submit their work in Latex2e. Please note that at least one of each accepted paper authors must be registered so that the paper is included in the proceedings.
